Summit Champions

By Jedd Medefind on April 15, 2013

Summit is always built by more people pitching in than one could easily count: the amazing host church and its staff…. a local volunteer leadership team…the army of day-of event volunteers….100+ world-class workshop instructors…the Summit musicians and keynote speakers…and so many others.

It’s a beautiful, and sometimes all-too-rare, picture of Christian ministries and individuals laboring together for a Kingdom vision.

Alongside all this elbow grease, CAFO’s member organizations provide much of what makes Summit so substantive—from resource-rich exhibit booths, to expert instruction on key issues, to help in letting the world know about Summit.

Ultimately, Summit is the fruit all the CAFO member organizations, churches and volunteers choosing to join together in a vision larger than any one of us.

And together, all of us who are a part of this want to thank a special group that has gone all out to make Summit a success, the Summit Champions.

The Summit Champions each sponsor Summit financially in a substantive way to help keep registration costs lower than virtually any similar conference.   And they’ve contributed in other ways also:  one organization serves as an email “call center” to help field the endless incoming questions (that tend to outstrip the CAFO staff); another gave their own Mac desktop when a CAFO staffer’s went kaput; others have recruited skilled volunteers from their org’s volunteer base; and much more.

All of us individuals, organizations and churches that are part of building Summit want to send a big thanks to the Summit Champions for helping make Summit possible.  These Champions include:

America World Adoption Agency

Bethany Christian ServicesCompassion International

Lifeline Children’s Services

Lifesong for Orphans

Show Hope

Thank you, Summit Champions!
