ReMoved: Deeply Moving Short Video

A film this powerful is best with little comment.  Suffice to say that in 12 short minutes it breaks your heart and paints the sky as black as it appears in the eyes of so many children in foster care – yet also allows small points of light to prick through the darkness.

ReMoved won Best Film and Audience Choice at the 168 Film Festival, and also Best Film at the Enfoque Film Festival.  The Santa Barbara Independent described, “It would be impossible to fully understand the life and emotions of a child going through the foster care system, but this short narrative film portrays that saga in a poetic light, with brushes of fear, anger, sadness, and a tiny bit of hope.”
