The One Less Orphan Care Ministry of His Providence Church is focused on ministering to families that are called to Foster and Adopt. To provide them with support and to surround them in prayer and service, recognizing the weight of this Heavenly mandate. We also are a resource to our community and desire to reach children with the love of Christ. We have remained a viable resource to the state of Massachusetts in finding Foster and Adoptive families to license as well as homes/families for children currently looking for short term placements and forever homes. Just in 2015, through our Bags of Hope Project, 7 families in our own church body have felt called and have finalized adoptions through in Massachusetts and Rhode Island! Praise God!
We desire to bring the message of the Churches Mandate to care for the orphan and widow to all churches in Southern New England. It is our prayer to eliminate the list of children waiting for families and replace it with a list of families waiting for children. This is very possible.
We have experienced first hand, that this is an avenue in which the Lord desires to bring revival to His Church.
