Role​: Sponsorship Advocate Intern

Description:​ Experienced and knowledgeable team leaders are needed to lead teams to various
international destinations to serve children in an orphanage setting. Team leaders are required to
help recruit passionate team members who will travel, advocate for the needs of vulnerable and
orphaned children and help create meaningful and memorable experiences for the children in their
home environment. Team Leader trip fees are covered on a percentage basis, a typical team leader
trip fee is covered at 100% once the team reaches 10 members or more.

Role​: Graphic Design Internship

Description:​ As a graphic artist, you know the power behind dynamic visual design. Here’s you opportunity to use your creative talent toward a vision larger than any one of us can accomplish alone. Christian Alliance for Orphans is looking for a graphic design intern to start this fall. You will work closely with the graphic design director and executives of key initiatives to create materials for both on-and-offline promotions. We value our interns for their strong design sensibility and promote their professional development during the term. Learn to meet daily, weekly, and long-term deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Create graphics and design layouts for flyers, email newsletters, web and mobile sites, blogs, and social media campaigns. Role​: Applied Research & Best Practice Initiative Internship

Description:​This internship is for the OVC (Orphaned and Vulnerable Children) Applied Research and Best Practice Initiative. This Initiative unifies top academic OVC researchers with leaders of faith-based NGOs serving children around the world and developing evidence-based solutions. We provide practitioners with exposure to incisive research and new data, innovations and best practices in the field. We also empower researchers with a rare opportunity to directly strengthen frontline OVC care practices.

About the OVC Applied Research and Best Practice Internship:
If you’re an individual who appreciates the power of combining research with best practices, here is your opportunity to use your analytical and organizational skills toward a vision larger than any one of us can accomplish alone. You will work closely with the OVC Applied Research and Best Practice Initiative National Director to research evidence-based solutions to the care of children, such as Trauma-informed care practices. You will learn how to reach an audience for practical research through technology outlets such as webinars, social media and online marketing campaigns. Role​: Global Network Intern: Pilot Translation/Contextualization of Global Resources

Description:​Assist with coordination of translation/contextualization projects for Global Resources and Global Courses materials. As initiative leader identifies key materials for a pilot translation/contextualization project, this intern will help coordinate the process with Global Network leaders in several cultures. The process will include, but not be limited to: Interacting with the authors/publishers of the resources to gain documented approval for translation and publication as a joint project. Engaging with Global Network leaders and contextualization teams as they recruit translators and define the approval processes to contextualize the resources. Document current status of each resource within the project plan, and recommend updates as we develop a repeatable process for contextualization of resources. Working alongside initiative leader to define, test, evaluate and refine the contextualization process for CAFO Global Network resources.
