Developing Practices that Nurture Spiritual Depth in Your Organization...and Yourself

November 3, 2016  |  Dallas  |  8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Venue: Irving Bible Church (2435 Kinwest Pkwy, Irving, TX 75063)

Here’s a simple truth.  If all that we claim to believe is true, nothing will determine the ultimate fruitfulness of our ministry more than the spiritual life of those serving within it.

Please join Jedd Medefind, Beth Guckenberger and other CAFO organization leaders to explore together specific practices and strategies for helping our teams – and ourselves! – grow downward to deep spiritual refreshment and life in Christ.

Certainly, it is God who grows this life, not us.  But He invites us to participate with Him in cultivating it.  And there are many practices engaged by saints throughout history that can help us do just that.

We’ll experience some of these practices together and learn how to engage them both personally and in ministry teams – from expressions of Sabbath, solitude and silence to lectio divina, simplifying and Sabbatical.

Ultimately, our prayer is that this day together will help each of us cultivate the kind of deep spiritual life that keeps ministry vibrant, fruitful and lasting amidst the beautiful, pain-filled work to which God has called us.
