More about Curtis:

Curtis has ministered to the least, the lost and the left-out for the past fifteen years.   He served ten years with the YMCA of the USA, 5 years as Executive Director in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and he also spent 5 years in Charlotte, NC where he received the inaugural Harry Brace Scholar Award.  For the past 5 years, Curtis provided leadership to the foster care and adoption organization, 4KIDS of Florida, as Director of Development. Prior to his not-for-profit career, Curtis spent 7 years in banking with Wells Fargo, working in the areas of capital markets, corporate tax, and consumer lending.

Curtis has committed his life to the service of youth, families and community.   From his work with special needs individuals and job corps youth, while attending Liberty University, to his work with juvenile recidivism as a residential counselor, the Lord has allowed him to impact youth across the country.  Curtis’ life mission is, “To impact our community for positive-change, through Jesus Christ”.

Curtis and his wife Letrice, were forever changed when the Lord blessed them to start their family through adoption.  They adopted their daughter Alexis in 2009.  Curtis states, “It’s awesome to experience adoption into God’s Family and adopting a child is as close as one can get to sharing that love with another person.”
