Jars of Clay just celebrated 20 years of band-life together. They had fans vote on their 20 favorite songs, and re-recorded them on a double disc appropriately titled “20.” Of all the moments that come with that much time and work, the founding of Blood:Water with friend Jena Nardella 10 years ago is a stand-out highlight for the guys. In the past decade of “partnering with local doers of good” in Africa, over a million have been provided clean water, in addition to building 5 medical clinics that will serve and educate communities affected by the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Their passion for social justice and for partnering with the poor has shaped their lives and their music. Jars of Clay are honored to be a part of CAFO2015.
