Peter DeSoto and his family served as missionaries in El Salvador from 2005 to 2010 supporting local churches reaching out to their communities. In 2007 his caravan was attacked by gunmen, and he was shot in the neck, left for dead. Miraculously, God protected his life, and their family remained in the country to continue serving. His testimony is an encouragement to those who’ve experienced trauma and are recovering to trust God and follow His calling. Peter currently serves as the executive pastor of The Garden Church in Long Beach, CA and as the executive director of Three Angels Children’s Relief reaching orphans and at-risk families in Haiti.
