The 2019 OVC Applied Research & Best Practice Symposium will unite top academic OVC researchers and faith-based NGO's serving vulnerable children around the globe. Come learn why children from hard places are more susceptible to harm from technology and what we can do to help.

Whether a church, ministry or organizational leader, on staff or volunteering, this leadership intensive will help you identify things that may be hindering your leadership and give you the insight and tools you need to excel moving forward. After registration you will complete a 360 Leadership Profile that national leadership experts will walk you through in a fun and interactive environment.

Becoming a Trauma Competent Caregiver

MONDAY-TUESDAY 9:00-5:00pm
During this two day workshop, you will hear from the Back2Back Ministries Child Development Team on trauma informed care, will receive all training materials necessary to use the curriculum in your own setting, and will receive plans for follow-up and support to help you be successful.

Moving Toward Family Solutions: An Immersive Simulation Experience

The transition to family care brings with it many unknowns- but also many opportunities to see children and families thrive! This full-day workshop allows leaders to walk through the process of transition using a fictional case study, in a highly experiential and interactive format.

Cultivating a Co-Missional Marriage

WEDNESDAY 8:30-2:30pm
Come join the Guckenbergers, married almost 25 years, and parents to 10 children (adopted, foster and biological) as they share their cautionary tales and best practices for a marriage to thrive. This day will be full of resources, discussion, instruction, invitation and challenge.
