CAFO is proud to accept cryptocurrency donations.

The IRS classifies cryptocurrency as property for tax purposes which makes it one of the most tax-efficient ways to support the Christian Alliance for Orphans. When you give digital currency, you will receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of your gift and avoid paying the capital gains tax you’d normally incur by selling your crypto to make a cash gift.

If you provide an email, you will automatically receive a tax receipt after completing your gift. CAFO accepts anonymous gifts of cryptocurrency, but you will not receive a tax receipt for your gift if you do not provide an email address.
