More Than Enough

The Foster Care Puzzle

Your next steps to putting the puzzle together where you live.

Foster care can feel like a puzzle.

But you can work with other churches, organizations, and advocates in your community to put the puzzle pieces together and reach more than enough.

Like assembling any puzzle, you’ll run into some questions along the way:

  • Do we have the box top as our guide?
  • Do we have all the pieces we need?
  • Do we know how to put the pieces together?

We're here to help you answer each of these questions using resources and tools created by the More Than Enough Community.

These three next steps will help you work with others to provide more than enough where you live:

The Vision Starter Guide

Get the box top of a shared vision of more than enough for children and families.

You care deeply about serving children and families in foster care, but engaging others can feel overwhelming.

What are you rallying people around—where’s the box top? What will the puzzle look like when it’s complete?

In the More Than Enough Vision Starter Guide, discover communications resources to help mobilize your community around a vision of more than enough for children and families before, during, and beyond foster care.

From a worksheet to help you contextualize the vision for your community to example content for marketing pieces, let us help multiply the impact of your time, effort, and resources by equipping you to communicate the vision in ways that resonate with your community.

Discovering Your Community

Find what puzzle pieces you have—and what pieces you still need—to reach more than enough where you live.

To reach more than enough, you’ll need a core set of pieces in place to care for children and families.

What resources do we already have in our community? What are the problems we need to solve? Who is working in this space, and how can we do more together?

Discovering Your Community will help you answer those very questions. This four-week collaborative learning experience will guide you and a group of your local collaborators through a three-stage process of understanding the nine essential pieces for serving children and families in foster care. Together, you’ll identify the biggest strengths and gaps in foster care in your county and determine the best next steps forward.

Join our next Discovering Your Community project and find the pieces where you live.
