Wrap-Around Support

Passionate leaders in churches are identified and trained in the Family Advocacy Ministry (FAM) model. They will receive step-by-step guidance on identifying and supporting families within their church and community.

Once established, the FAM infrastructure helps churches identify the greatest needs in their church and community. These could include: meeting physical and financial needs, ministering to families and meeting emotional and spiritual needs, or establishing Care Communities to wrap around foster, adoptive, and biological families.

Initial training is required for implementation. All foundational training courses include a physical manual, which is provided during training. Access to the care-coordination software is granted after training is completed.

For churches interested in wrap-around support, the comprehensive training and resources are available for $125 per attendee.

Beyond initial training, churches are encouraged to give a minimum of $42 per month (or $500 annually) to help supplement costs related to software, content, and coaching.

Church leadership involvement is essential for success. While Family Advocacy Ministries (FAMs) are typically led by passionate lay people, church leadership support is required for this church-led model.

Typically, it takes churches 2-4 months to launch into service. 

Yes. Churches interested in implementing the model receive access to a dedicated FAM Coach from Promise686 who provides ongoing consultation and guidance to church leaders. 

Churches that engage also receive access to software for care coordination tools (including volunteer and family management), detailed instructions through training videos, and step-by-step checklists and guides. 

In areas where a local Promise Implementing Affiliate is present, implementation support and coaching will be provided through the staff of a trusted Promise network partner.
