Secondary trauma and constant stress are everyday challenges for child welfare professionals and volunteer advocates, often leading to burnout and high turnover — making it harder for kids to get the consistent support they need. Socialight offers care and encouragement to social workers and GALs or CASAs each month through simple gestures that remind them they’re not alone. By supporting those doing the hard work, Socialight helps lower turnover and strengthens the support system around vulnerable children.

Caseworkers serving vulnerable children and families often face overwhelming workloads and high burnout, while many churches want to help but don't know where to start. Through coaching, practical resources and ongoing support, the TFI Advocate Program equips volunteers to bridge the gap between child welfare agencies and churches by building relationships, encouraging caseworkers and listening to their needs. In doing so, churches can launch a ministry with efforts focused where they're most needed, strengthening local agencies and expanding the community of care for children and families.
