More about Michelle:
Michelle hopes to never lose the wonder of being saved by grace! She is passionate about growing in her relationship with the Lord and sharing the love of Jesus with those around her. Michelle is CAFO’s Director of Development & Discipleship – her dream job! She is a cheerful giver herself who believes development is ministry. She loves collaborating and learning together with other ministry/nonprofit professionals. During her 20+ years in development and leadership roles, a common thread has been serving vulnerable children and families. She believes deeply in the value of every person made in God’s image and the importance of nurturing families to create healthy individuals and communities. In addition to her nonprofit experience, Michelle spent some time in politics and public policy including working for a US Senator and business and pro-growth economic advocacy organizations. She is an Arizona native and a University of Arizona wildcat (bear down!). Her favorite role is being Aunt Michelle to many nieces, nephews and second cousins. She is also a former foster mom of one very special boy. Michelle has served in church children’s ministry for many years, and also engaged in disability ministry.

More about Callie:
Callie’s heart for orphan and foster care started with her father, who grew up in a group home called the Baptist Children’s Village in Jackson, MS. He raised all four of his children to know and love the Lord, and Callie and her husband are now a licensed foster home. Callie combines this passion with project management skills gained from years of work in higher education, and as Project Administrator for the Development & Discipleship initiative, she serves organizations in the CAFO community as they seek to engage and minister alongside financial supporters.
