Transforming Foster Care Where You Live

Help Foster Care in Your Community Get Unstuck

You want to see children and families in foster care thrive. You’re doing great work—but the ‘not enoughs’ remain…not enough resources, not enough support and not enough families.

What if you could get unstuck, working with others to create greater community involvement, build stronger relationships, and get better results for children and families than working alone does?

Unstuck: Transforming Foster Care Where You Live is an interactive, live group workshop experience designed to bring together churches, organizations, agencies, child welfare professionals, and advocates from your community.

Hosted collaboratively by Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services and More Than Enough, Unstuck is designed to build further momentum and fine-tune direction as Hawaii communities work together to care for children and families.

You and fellow collaborators from your county will leave this half-day event with...

  • A Shared Vision: Re-capture the clarity you once had about what you want to see happen for children and families in your community.
  • Real-World Guidance: Your workshop facilitator will introduce you to the principles, practices, and people that are helping other communities around the country get un-stuck.
  • Practical Resources: Leave with tools and fuel to help your community fill the gaps that will make the biggest difference for children and families in foster care.
