Learn more about the field of care for vulnerable children and families alongside other college students who share the same heart as you.
CAFO Student Fellowship Program
As a 2026-2027 CAFO Student Fellow, you will have the unique opportunity to learn, grow, and explore your calling with other students and professionals who share your heart to care for the most vulnerable. This will be accomplished through in-person attendance at the CAFO2026 Summit, monthly virtual huddles and the online multi-dimensional Foundations for Serving Vulnerable Children & Families course.
Before applying, please note that the Student Fellowship program is being offered in two parts (in the Fall and Spring). First, students will attend the CAFO2026 Summit. This year, it will be held in Atlanta on September 23-25. Second, students will participate in the virtual Foundations for Serving Vulnerable Children & Families course in Spring 2027, which consists of five monthly modules. The commitment for each module is about four hours each month (January to May). Each month will consist of one video call and content to read, watch, or listen to. Upon completion of both the Summit attendance/participation and Foundations for Serving Vulnerable Children & Families course, Student Fellows will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.
