Clinical Supervisor

Supervisor is to ensure that all Mental Health Assessments, Clinical Care Plans and Progress Notes meet Medi-Cal documentation criteria. Supervise eight to nine (8-9) Mental Health clinicians. Conduct regular chart audits covering both clinical and technical compliance issues. Work with the Mental Health Quality Assurance Dept. to coordinate and ensure quality mental health care for Olive Crest youth. Monitor consulting clinical staff. All other documentation described in the Policies and Procedures Manual.

Qualified candidates must have a PhD/PsyD or MA/MS/MSW in Human Services and 3 years related experience, a MFT or LCSW license, must be eligible to provide supervision to registered MFTI and ASW interns under CA BBS guidelines, and record clearance free of criminal conviction. Previous experience and knowledge of Medi-Cal documentation guidelines and regulations, previous supervisory experience desired, and bilingual (English and Spanish) all preferred.

Reporting to the President, the Director of Corporate Communications is responsible for providing and managing communication between all levels of the organization to provide a solid image, developing and leading organizational media relations, strategic communications, and employee communications activities. The Director of Corporate Communications will serve as the primary spokesperson and a key advisor on issues and crisis management plans. This position will participate and supervise corporate marketing, community relations, and ongoing content strategy initiatives. Accordingly, they will handle all aspects of external and internal communications, including proactive and reactive media relations, and work closely with top executives to ensure messaging is projected to organizational standards.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of communications and public relations experience.
  • Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal, decision making, presentation, and organization skills.
  • Strong planning and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for both self and team to meet organization requirements and deadlines.
  • Able to work collectively with all constituent groups, including staff, board members, volunteers, donors, program participants, and other supporters.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, and collaboratively; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives.
  • A strategist who can anticipate and support the needs of internal audiences (business partners, enterprise leaders) and external audiences (donors, the public).
  • An experienced corporate spokesperson with a demonstrated ability to work with national and local print and broadcast media.
  • Experience in producing a variety of communications using print, electronic and face-to-face media.
  • Prioritizes multiple expectations based on the company’s strategy and goals, providing focus and expectations for the team.
  • Understands the importance of and appropriately incorporates analytics into communications efforts in order to demonstrate business value.
  • Must demonstrate a strong commitment to Christ and to living a Christian lifestyle, consistent with the mission of Palmer Home.
