The Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO) is thrilled to welcome Jedd Schroy as the new Director of Organizational Excellence for the CAFO Research Center. In this role, Schroy will help strengthen the quality and impact of Christian organizations serving orphaned and vulnerable children and families internationally.
Schroy’s previous work includes a decade of leadership in South Africa where he co-founded Paradigm Shift, a nonprofit focused on equipping churches to empower entrepreneurs. He has also served as Director of Advisory Research for a philanthropic advisory firm where he authored trend reports on the nonprofit sector, wrote hundreds of client briefs and consulted with nonprofit leaders on impact measurement projects.
“We are so grateful to have Jedd Schroy join the Research Center team and look forward to seeing how God will use his gifts to see more Christians equipped to provide the best available care for vulnerable children and families worldwide,” said Dr. Nicole Wilke, Director of the CAFO Research Center. “Jedd’s professional background, personal experience, and love for Jesus make him a great fit for CAFO and an asset to the broader movement.”
CAFO President Jedd Medefind expressed, “I’ll confess I never expected to have a teammate with the same name, but I couldn’t be more thankful to have Jedd Schroy join the CAFO team! He will add tremendously to all the ways CAFO strengthens the effectiveness of organizations that serve children and families worldwide. Jedd knows intimately the joys and challenges borne by the leaders who carry this frontline work, and he also brings deep knowledge of organizational growth, outcomes measurement, and much more from his work with both donors and ministries around the world.”
Schroy will oversee the daily operations of the CAFO Research Center, guiding strategy execution and facilitating cross-initiative collaboration to help scale resources and equipping opportunities to strengthen even more organizations that serve children and families around the globe.
