This work is not easy.
When you follow Jesus into the difficult and broken places on behalf of a vulnerable child, you are sharing in their pain. It can feel isolating and exhausting. And yet, we know from Scripture this work is sacred.
It is sacred because God Himself is there — in the darkest places — moving toward those who are vulnerable. He doesn’t need us in this work, but he invites us to do it with Him. He sets a place at the table for all of His children to feast in relationship with Him and one another.
“The common narrative of our time is isolation and competition,” said CAFO President Jedd Medefind. “But the Christian Alliance for Orphans is an invitation to come together at a common table – to be fed by God through one another. And as we bring our gifts, we can unite together around a vision that’s larger than any single organization working alone.”
In this new short film by Nathan Cadis Media, see the beautiful way God is weaving together a story of redemption for vulnerable children and families through His people at a common table that spans continents – from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Lake County, Indiana.
