The Christian Alliance for Orphans (CAFO) is pleased to announce Sebilu Bodja as Director of Global Network Development. In this role, Bodja will lead efforts to strengthen and expand CAFO’s global networks, supporting both established and emerging leaders as they grow in vision, trust and impact on behalf of vulnerable children and families.
Bodja brings more than 30 years of experience in child welfare and partnership development, most recently serving as Global Regional Director for Bethany Christian Services in Ethiopia. He has been instrumental in creating collaborative systems that empower local communities to care for vulnerable children and families across the region.
“We are deeply grateful for how God continues to bring together leaders from around the world, and we believe Sebilu’s leadership marks an important step forward for the CAFO Global Network,” said David Hennessey, Director of the Global Network initiative at CAFO.
“With growing momentum, strengthened coaching, and a shared commitment to Christ-centered collaboration, we look forward to seeing networks flourish and more children experience the love and care of family within their communities.”
In his role, Bodja will lead a team of regional coaches serving Latin America, Africa and Asia as they invest in the health and growth of more than 50 locally-led, faith-based networks of churches, NGOs and agencies working together to see every child in a loving family, embraced within a collaborative community.
“I have always had a deep respect for how God uses CAFO to inspire, strengthen and equip His people to serve the least among us,” Bodja said. “I feel blessed to be part of such an incredible team, committed to following our Lord in both our fellowship and our service.”
