Woven officially began in December 2016. We have a team of people that take meals to foster families when they get a new placement, a parent support group, participate in Orphan/Stand Sunday, do several outreach events with and for our local Dept. of Family Services, and are hosting the Empowered to Connect Conference for the second year in a row. We have helped other area churches begin similar ministries, and with the help of Johnston Moore, have pulled together a coalition of church/ministry leaders in Loudoun County that meet monthly since Jan. 2018 to coordinate serving the local foster care community.
