After a bit of a hiatus, we’re starting back up on interviews for the Justice & the Inner Life podcast. As always, we’ll explore what it takes to live well and serve long in the beautiful-and-costly work of mercy and justice.

Our newest episode features Dr. Kelly Kapic, whose book has just released:  You’re Only Human:  How Your Limits Reflect God’s Design and Why That’s Good News.

Who wants to feel small? At first thought, no one. But as Dr. Kapic helps us see, it’s precisely in holding a deep sense our very smallness that we can live light and free.

As he expresses so well, failing to see this not only leaves us perennially frustrated. Most tragically, it “cripples our ability to love.” Happily, both rich Christian theology and age-old Christian practices liberate us from the need to live as gods. They remind us that we are creatures – very finite, vulnerable, and dependent…yet also designed with wonderful capacity to love and be loved.
