Mobilization Resources for Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot

Inspired by the incredible true story, Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot follows Donna and Reverend Martin as they ignite a movement of compassion in their small East Texas church to care for children who needed foster or adoptive families, leading the charge to prove that faith, community and perseverance have the power to change the lives of vulnerable children.

This movie provides an opportunity to engage your community in conversations about foster care. Wherever people are in their understanding of foster care currently, the goal is to use this movie as a springboard toward a deeper understanding and invite them to take a specific, realistic next step in caring for children and families.

To help you do just that, we’ve created resources to help local foster care leaders and advocates leverage the film effectively.
