What happens to my Summit Registration?

Your registration credit for CAFO2020 is still active and confirmed. While CAFO2020 that was scheduled for September 9-11, 2020 has been canceled due to the unforeseen circumstances around COVID-19 your registration will both gain you access to the upcoming 2020 Small Matters virtual event on September 10-11 and provide 50% off the regular registration fee for CAFO SUMMIT 2021. If you are currently registered for CAFO2020, you’ll receive a coupon for 50% off CAFO2021.

Will my current Summit registration include the virtual “2020 Small Matters” in September?

I’ve registered for CAFO 2020 and am not able to attend CAFO 2021. May I get a refund?

As you know, the COVID-19 outbreak came as a surprise to the world. As a not-for-profit ministry serving churches, organizations and families, we have always kept Summit registration rates as low as possible. The fees cover what it costs to put on the conference – much of which CAFO would not be able to recoup if cancellations are widespread. 

With this in mind, we’d humbly ask that if you cannot attend Summit 2021, you might graciously consider your registration fee as a donation to our shared mission.  This would enable CAFO to continue its year-round ministry even as we will be absorbing significant losses. We would provide a tax deductible receipt for your donation.  To donate your registration fee, click here. 

However, we certainly understand if you’d still like to request your refund.  We honor your commitment and service, and want to make a special exception to our normal refund policy by providing a complete refund less only the $35 cancellation fee if requested by July 31, 2020. We know COVID-19 is presenting great difficulties for many, and we gladly share in these challenges with you.

All registration refunds must be requested by July 31, 2020 to be valid for consideration. If registration changes are not requested by this date, your registration will be applied to the virtual Small Matters event in September 2020 and towards 50% off one regular registration at CAFO 2021. Request any registration changes by completing this form no later than July 31, 2020. Make sure to complete this form for each individual registration. You will receive a follow up email once your request has been processed.

If approved for a refund, all funds will be returned minus a $35 cancellation fee to cover expenses related to your cancelled registration. 

No other refunds will be offered.

How do I handle my hotel reservation?

Please remember that CAFO does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Attendees are responsible for canceling their own hotel and travel reservations.

I’m already registered for the CAFO2020 Summit. What does my registration now include?

As a thank you for registering early, your current registration will provide this virtual Small Matters  event for free AND also half off your 2021 registration!  We’re excited for the next opportunity we have to gather together in-person again!

I’m already registered for the CAFO2020 Summit. What should I do next?

If you’ve made any travel or hotel reservations in Dallas, please be sure to cancel those soon.  Otherwise, you’re all set!  You will receive your unique log-in for the new Small Matters virtual event.

How do I access the virtual 2020 Small Matters event?

Full event information and links will be emailed to attendees closer to the event.

Will the small gatherings on Day 2 be in-person or virtual?

Some small groups will choose to gather in-person while some will be virtual.  We will send you details on available gatherings in your area closer to the event. (Day one events will be completely virtual.)

Can we simulcast the virtual event as a group?

Please feel free to join the virtual as a group!  Each member needs to register individually.  However, the global track on day 2 especially will end itself to staff group discussion and processing.

How do I know if there is a local in-person site near me?

Please email Ashley Phelan (phelan@cafo.org) to inquire about a local in-person gathering near you.

Where and when is CAFO2021?

CAFO2021 details are almost ready!  Stay tuned!

Will this event be recorded and available later?

The Small Matters live event will be recorded and available for on-demand viewing throughout 2020 for all registered attendees (**Best Value**!)
On-demand access can be purchased after the event (beginning September 12, 2020) for the following rates:

Can I can my cancel my Small Matters Registration?

Yes, for any registrations purchased after June 30, 2020. Please email summitinfo@cafo.org to request a refund by August 11, 2020.  If approved for a refund, all funds will be returned minus a $10 cancellation fee to cover expenses related to your cancelled registration. Requests must be made by August 11, 2020, after this date no other refunds will be offered.
