Following the CAFO2025 Summit in Houston, Texas, last October, leaders returned to their work across the United States and in more than 60 nations, encouraged and equipped for what’s ahead.
CAFO has now created a way for members to share key moments and practical training with teams and partners back home through a new offering especially for CAFO members: CAFO Summit Local.
CAFO Summit Local is a resource package that includes video highlights from CAFO2025 that organizations can use to host a local networking, equipping or professional development event. The package features select keynote sessions and several workshop options. Members will also receive a facilitator’s guide with suggested schedules, discussion questions and other planning tools.
The resources are designed to support a range of event formats, from a short morning or evening gathering to a full-day conference experience. Members can use Summit Local to create a new event or add content to one already in development.
Summit Local is built around the CAFO2025 theme, “Distinct: Different from the world, for the world,” and is intended to help leaders strengthen and encourage those serving vulnerable children and families.This offer is available for a limited time to CAFO members in 2026. Registration will remain open through March 1, and events must be held by Aug. 1. Participants will be asked to complete a survey after their local event.
