Katie Casselberry serves as Director of Communications for More Than Enough, where she leads our communications focused on US foster care and equips local churches, organizations, and advocates to effectively cast a vision of more than enough where they live. 

Katie joined CAFO from International Justice Mission (IJM), where she served as Global Sr. Lead for Brand and PR Messaging. In this role, she led messaging strategy and content for IJM’s global brand, and created trainings and resources to equip staff across IJM’s five regions to amplify and unify IJM’s voice. Prior to her time at IJM, Katie was Director of Marketing and Communications at the Chalmers Center for Economic Development.

Outside of work, you’ll find Katie serving as local Auntie to her sister's family, hiking, baking, or trying to rehabilitate her classical piano skills.

Gina Meier-Hummel is in her 32nd year of serving at-risk Kansas children and families and in her 6th year overseeing O'Connell Youth Ranch which successfully merged with The Children's Shelter to become O'Connell Children's Shelter in 2021. She also currently is an Adjunct Faculty Member teaching classes at both Washburn University and the University of Kansas.

Formerly, Gina served as the Secretary for the Kansas Department for Children and Families, having been in the Cabinet of both Governor Brownback and Governor Colyer. Gina also is the former Deputy Director of Crime Victims Services for Attorney General Dereck Schmidt and served the AG as the first Youth Suicide Prevention Coordinator for the State of Kansas, a position created by the Kansas Legislature.

Gina has worked in several positions locally and on a statewide basis.  She started her career in Lawrence Ks. as a Child Protective Service investigator. Served as the former Director of Children and Family Services for the State of Kansas, the former Commissioner for the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services over mental health, addictions programing, and all Medicaid Waiver Programs, and was the former Executive Director of The Children’s Shelter Inc.

Gina has served on the Governor's Education Advisory Task Force and Substance Abuse Prevention Task Force, the Governor’s Task Force on Disproportionality, and served as Judicial Appointee for the Legislative Taskforce on Child Welfare Reform in Kansas. She also served on the Governors Social Service Advisory Council and currently is the Board President for the Children’s Alliance of Kansas and sits on the Board of Directors for the Lawrence, Ks Chamber of Commerce.
